By accessing or using WeekdayApp ("the Service"), including our web application, Outlook Add-in, and any related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

Description of Service

WeekdayApp is a task management and productivity application that allows users to:

Create and manage tasks and projects

Track time and generate invoices

Collaborate with team members

Create tasks from emails using Outlook Add-in

Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information

Maintain and update your information as needed

Keep your password secure and confidential

Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access

Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Intellectual Property

Our Content

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by WeekdayApp and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you create using the Service (tasks, projects, notes, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a license to host and display your content as necessary to provide the Service.

Outlook Add-in

Our Outlook Add-in allows you to create tasks from your email. By using the Add-in:

You authorise us to access email content you explicitly select

We only read email data when you actively use the Add-in

We do not have background access to your mailbox

You can revoke Add-in access at any time

Payment Terms

If you subscribe to a paid plan:

Fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis

You authorise us to charge your payment method

Refunds are provided according to our refund policy

We may change pricing with 30 days' notice

Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described therein.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may:

Perform maintenance with or without notice

Modify or discontinue features

Suspend accounts that violate these terms

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WeekdayApp shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities

Service interruptions or errors

Unauthorised access to your data

Actions of third parties

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WeekdayApp, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account for breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity, non-payment of fees, or extended inactivity.

You may export your data before termination.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by South African law. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unsuccessful, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and WeekdayApp regarding the Service.
